High School (VI-X)
SECONDARY SCHOOL

The knowledge and skills acquired during the Middle School years provide students with a strong academic foundation for a variety of future educational paths. At this stage, students can choose a curriculum aligned with the SCERT and Telangana State Boards.
As they transition into Secondary School, we focus on connecting students’ natural strengths and interests with their chosen languages and subjects. By this time, students’ scientific curiosity is coupled with a developing objectivity. An activity-based approach to science encourages innovative thinking. The curriculum also includes humanities, fine arts, performing arts, and a range of co-curricular activities, including sports, fostering a well-rounded and liberal outlook on life and relationships.
Curricular Practices in Secondary School:
- We prioritize the development of articulation skills in both written and oral communication, emphasizing the analysis and application of information gathered from diverse sources.
- Information Technology is a core component of our curriculum, and we implement a successful and effective computer program for students.
- Our assessments adhere to international benchmarks and include observations, projects, activities, research presentations, and regular evaluations. We promote authentic, application-based learning methods over rote memorization.
- For Grades 9 and 10, we conduct bi-annual summative exams, structured pre-final assessments, and provide guidance on expectations for Board Exams.
- Students benefit from extended learning opportunities through field trips and guest lectures.
- Weekly student-led assemblies and a student council encourage leadership and involvement.
- Co-curricular activities encompass sports, physical education, and participation in inter-house cultural events, fine arts, and oratory competitions, enriching the overall educational experience.
